Meet our Leadership team and Staff

Daryn is an elder and has been part of Saar Fellowship since 2018. Before that he also was part of the team leading teens Bible study. He works in software development as a developer, consultant, and educator.

Dom is an Elder and has been part of Saar Fellowship since 2019. He also serves as part of the worship team. He is a musician by profession with his primary instrument being the double bass. He is passionate about music and loves bikes.

Emiliano Herrera is a PE and Health teacher. He and his family have been part of SF since 2015, and he’s passionate about serving, connecting, and growing within the church community. Whether he’s on the field, in the classroom, or at church, Emi loves encouraging others and being part of the SF family.

CJ is a Council Member and has been part of Saar Fellowship for almost four years. He serves on the worship team and is passionate about worship, creativity, and community.

Brenda is a Council Member and has been a part of Saar Fellowship since 2018. She leads the Worship Ministry and is part of the worship team. Brenda has been a music teacher in Bahrain.

Meg Herrera is a Council Member and has been part of Saar Fellowship since 2015. She leads the Kids Church team and the Monday night home group meets at the Herrera home. Meg is a secondary school librarian during the week and has 3 kids with her husband, Emiliano. She loves traveling and being a part of SF!

Joji Varghese Thomas is a Council Member and has been part of Saar Fellowship since 2022. He leads the Youth Group at Saar Fellowship & is part of the Live Streaming team. He loves Basketball and is a Lakers fan.

Sam is a Council Member and has been part of Saar Fellowship since 2019. She serves as the Church Admin and is also part of the Visuals/Streaming Team. Sam is a business development professional working for a cybersecurity firm in Bahrain. She loves cooking, baking, music and her dogs.

Diane is an educator who is passionate about studying the Bible, prayer and empowering others to develop their skills and talents. At Saar Fellowship for 11 years, she coordinates the Women’s Ministry and the Saturday Stars Young Adult Bible Study. In the local community, she is involved in organizing activities for sports and the creative arts. Her hobbies include cooking, reading, golf & dragon boat paddling.
